International Student Program

God is working for His good through our International Student Program. Grace Academy's International Student Program provides an opportunity for students to study and improve both their English speaking and study skills. Grace Academy accepts students for full time programs (10 months), short term programs (from one week up to a full semester) as well as hosting summer programs. Our international and domestic students can learn from each other about similarities and differences in cultures; they can take an active part in school activities and clubs, practice teamwork in class projects and athletics, and develop a greater worldview beyond their hometowns. International students are placed with host families, giving them the opportunity to experience American culture as well as share their own culture with their appointed family. Students receive support from the moment they apply to the school until they leave the program or graduate from Grace Academy.

Our International Student Program has grown significantly since its implementation at Grace Academy in 2009. What started as a partnership with just one country has expanded to include students from more than 13 different countries, including Japan, Lithuania, Australia, Germany, Spain and Colombia. By the Lord’s faithfulness, some international students have accepted Jesus as their Savior, and it has been a blessing to our staff and families to see God work for His good through a “reverse missionary” model.

Host Families

Host families are an integral part of the students’ experience at Grace Academy. Our host families are caring and understanding as our international students adapt to life in America. They invite our overseas students to be a part of their families during their stay and are quickly integrated into each family’s lifestyle. If you and your family would like to host a student during the summer or school year, please contact our International Program Director, Brian Kelley.

Please contact Brian Kelley, our International Program Director, for information about host families, international summer camp opportunities or day-to-day international student needs. Mr. Kelley may be reached at brian.kelley@gaknights.org.
