The school year is well under way, and our seniors are excited to share an opportunity that they are most looking forward to before graduation. From March 7-14, the Grace Academy Class of 2025 will be traveling beyond the boundaries of the Tri-State area to share God’s love with people around the world as part of a mission trip to Playa Azul, Costa Rica.
During this time, our senior class will be serving with La Mano of Hope, an organization committed to support and encourage the ministry of La Iglesia Biblica in the community of Playa Azul, Costa Rica. Each day our team will be serving in compassion outreach projects including cleaning, painting, and renovation updates at the church's camp and around the community. Additionally, they’ll work alongside local pastors to collect and distribute basic necessity items to the surrounding community.
Our seniors are thrilled to have the chance to serve the Lord in a meaningful way by caring for the community of Playa Azul, and they can’t wait to share their experiences with the school when they return!
There are two ways that you can join us in this ministry as they prepare to serve in Costa Rica:
Pray for our seniors. Please ask God to give our team safe travel, caring and generous hearts, and the right words to minister with. Your prayers are essential to the success of their trip.
Offer financial support. If you feel called to support the work God is doing in Costa Rica, please prayerfully consider offering a donation. Each student is responsible for raising the $1,750 it costs to participate, and your financial support would mean the world to them. Checks should be made out to Grace Academy with “Costa Rica Mission Trip” in the memo line. Charitable donations are tax-deductible, and a receipt can be provided upon request.
Participating in this mission trip will be an incredible spiritual experience for all of the seniors who will be serving. They are excited to be part of the work that God is already doing in Costa Rica, to grow in their faith, and to share these experiences with the school upon their return.
