Group picture of the 2024 seniors during the Senior Sunrise

Their senior year is well under way, and our seniors are very excited to share the opportunity that they are most looking forward to before graduation. From March 8-15, our seniors will be serving with La Mano of Hope in Quito, Ecuador.

Our senior missionary team will be working with La Mano of Hope to support and encourage the community of El Ejército in the Southern Andes region of Quito, Ecuador. Each day they will build relationships and share the gospel with the children of the community while assisting with a local soccer camp. They will also work alongside local pastors as they collect and distribute basic necessity items to the surrounding Quichua tribe. With each day that passes our seniors are growing more excited to go and serve the Lord by caring for these people in a small but crucial way.

There are two ways that you can join in this ministry with them as they prepare to serve in Ecuador.

  1. Pray for them. Please ask God to give our team safe travel, caring and generous hearts, and the right words to minister with. Your prayers are crucial for this trip.
  2. Offer financial support. If you feel called to support the work God is doing in Ecuador, please prayerfully consider offering a donation. Each senior going is responsible for raising the $1,750 it costs for them to participate, and your financial support would mean the world to them. Checks should be made out to Grace Academy. Charitable donations are tax deductible, and a receipt can be given upon request.

Taking part in a mission trip is an incredible spiritual experience, and we are very excited to be sending our seniors to be part of the work that God is already doing in Ecuador, to grow in their faith, and to share those experiences with you when they return.

Thank you so much for considering supporting our seniors through prayer and/or a financial gift. We look forward to seeing how God is going to use each of them to continue His work around the world in Quito, Ecuador!
