Emphasis Block

E-block is short for Emphasis block. During this block of time each day, students have a chance to step away from their core content classes to focus on spiritual growth and dig deeper into activities or organizations that interest them through our vast offering of clubs. 

Two days a week, teachers challenge and mentor students, in small groups, on spiritual topics through video Bible studies using the RightNow Media platform. These study series are specifically planned and geared toward the topics that are most relevant in the lives of upper school students today. Also, two days of the week are set aside for clubs. We offer a wide range and variety of clubs for students to choose from. They have the opportunity to choose a club that they are an expert in or a new learner. Students may choose from chess club, photography, yearbook, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, STEM, and many others.
